Spawn Lab Setup
Helps you plan your spawn production lab
Up to 70% of the mushroom farms out there make their own spawn. If you decide at one point to start producing your own spawn this will be helpful to ensure a smooth and easy worry free launch and offer you the independence you need from spawn producers and high shipping costs.
This may be combined with the need to grow mushrooms that require supplemented substrates such as shiitake, chestnut mushrooms, or maitake
Spawn Production Training
Teaches you how to make quality spawn using low-tech equipment
It’s not the same if you get with a pound more or less mushrooms from a block. If you decide to grow mushrooms efficiently you can opt for this service and I’ll get the best yield that I can possibly get for the mushroom(s) that you want to grow.
The experiments are performed at my location and then tested at your location. The cost of this service will depend on the yield that we get at your location for the mushroom you want to grow.
About Your Instructor
I’m Dr T and I grow mushrooms since 2005. I started my consultant career in 2014 when I worked with several startups and mushroom farms as an advisor -this was part of my job with a company selling mushroom spawn. At the same company I worked as instructor in clean room techniques and mushroom growing, and instructed many national and international students. In 2015 I had the chance to visit multiple farms located on the US West Coast. In 2017 I started to consult with a startup mushroom farm in Barbados then, with several others across California, doing both online and on site consulting. Find out more about me.
