THE MUSHROOM GROWER STARTER PACK CONTENTS
Introduces you to the world of low-tech mushroom growing (both specialty mushrooms and buttons). Passes you through every step of the way, explains you challenges, yield expectation, and what you need to think of before starting out with mushroom growing
This will explain you the different ways mushrooms are grown. Discusses what mushrooms need to be paired with specific grow methods and the variations of these methods. In addition you’ll find out how to use the lime method, how to start a mushroom patch outdoors or how to grow mushrooms in your garden
Explains the 0% agricultural waste model using mushrooms Discusses mushrooms as integrative part in permaculture model designs, and the multiple advantages of such models compared to standard methods
Discusses substrate types used in general to grow specialty mushrooms, how to perform a substrate quality check, how to pair your mushroom with the right substrate (advantages and disadvantages), and how to properly formulate a mushroom grow recipe.
Introduces you to some of the commercially grown gourmet and medicinal mushrooms (Oysters, Woodear, Turkey Tail, Reishi, Maitake, Lion’s Mane, Cordyceps, and Shiitake)
Teaches you how to grow specialty mushrooms like; different varieties of Oyster mushrooms (white/brown/blue/pearl/etc, yellows, pinks, Kings), Milky Mushrooms, the Paddy Straw Mushroom, Shiitake, Lion’s Mane, Reishi, and Cordyceps.
Bonus Modules
Starting to grow mushrooms at home with just $100 in the pocket is a clear evidence that mushroom growing can be done with very low investment by using low technology – this requires creativity and will power to start a fun mushroom grow project which will ensure plenty of mushrooms for your own kitchen.
This training module teaches you how to make a mushroom grow box or how to set up a couple of shelves, how to connect them to climate systems to get the proper climate conditions for your mushrooms to grow well.
Once you’ll have a mushroom grow box you’ll be able to grow a bunch of mushroom blocks at home -just because you give them the conditions they need. If you don’t use a mushroom grow box like this your mushroom pinheads might dry out, and even if they pop they might poorly develop.
Teaches you how to differentiate between quality and non-quality spawn, where to find spawn, how to work and store spawn.
Is highly important to know how to detect quality spawn because in the case you’ll use low quality spawn you might get poor mushroom flushes or you may ruin your entire mushroom grow project – this is the case when the spawn is bacterial or bears mold contamination.
This will also teach you what is a strain, where to find quality spawn, what kind of spawn to order, how much you should order for your first mushroom grow project, and how to store and use the purchased spawn
If you have a couple of logs in your backyard and think to grow mushrooms on them just to collect mushrooms for your own kitchen -this will be a fun project for you -this module will teach you everything you need to know to successfully grow them in a somewhat more natural way.
You’ll learn about different types of wood what is their degradation rate when paired with different wood loving mushrooms. This will also teach you different methods to grow mushrooms on logs, including what you should do to ensure proper moisture inside your log once it’s been inoculated with spawn or plugs.
This training comes with a show – trains you step-by-step how to do mushrooms cultivation on logs and stumps.

Why Low-Tech?
Mushrooms don’t need fancy equipment to grow what they need is for you to provide them conditions for proper development which may be achieved by using low-tech equipment. Low-Tech means low-cost which is the ideal state for every beginner grower wanting to start a mushroom farm for self sufficiency or business. This also involves fun projects and requires growers to have a certain degree of creativity.
About Your Instructor
I grow mushrooms since 2005. I created this course to share my experience with you and to help you start the right way. When I first started out with growing mushrooms I did it the hard way and I lost a lot of time doing extensive research on how to grow mushrooms, I lost energy and funds in trials that got contaminated with bacteria and molds and many times I got disappointed. I had nobody to guide me but the internet and some books. I lost a lot of time and energy on the internet just browsing through fragmented information that in most cases wasn’t quality information, so I felt like I was playing puzzle and it took me a long time to understand what’s all about with mushroom growing or spawn making. I ran into random issues: molds would take over half of my mushroom blocks, other mushrooms popping instead of the expected mushrooms, weird looking fruitbodies..you name it. For me it was an adventure but honestly, I wouldn’t do it again.
Later, many of the farms I’ve visited were struggling out there to get the results they wanted to get but had no clear guidance. Some were doing much better than others and that’s the moment when I realized what means mentorship. Growing mushrooms is an art and to find the right path requires knowledge and experience. Here's What Others Have To Say About The Help They Got
“Although I’m not a mushroom cultivation beginner I found Daniel’s overview on mushroom cultivation captivating and with some novel details. He uses simple terminology, the material is easy to follow, and I felt indrawn in his story. Excellent base to begin with! Maybe I am too much into mushrooms, however, there is always something to learn and Daniel has real experience in this field and the passion to show and share it! Thank you, Daniel” – Jovana V., PhD in mushroom science, Serbia
Having completed the first lesson (week 1) there is the feeling that growing mushrooms is a bit like paint by numbers with a “But”. That but is that while it is easy to get started BUT, it is not that easy to get it all right first go. Dr T sets the scene for what will ultimately, I think, prove to be a worth white course. Even if I can increase my yield by a kilo, It has paid for the course. – Paul F., Australia

COMMON BEGINNER MISTAKES WHEN THERE'S NO GUIDANCE
That’s what I saw while visiting a startup mushroom farm. The owner didn’t know what’s going on whit his oyster mushroom columns. Many beginner mushroom growers out there get into such issues
- You might pick a weak strain that gets you poor results and gets you discouraged
- You purchase bad spawn from an unreliable source -this will mess up your mushroom grow project
- There are several mushroom grow methods out there and you might pick one that doesn't work for you
- There are different types of containers out there but you pick one that doesn't suit your project
- You don't exactly know how to set up your small growroom
- You run into issues like molds or bacteria taking over 20% or more of your substrate
- You got your project going and you realize that you lost time, energy and materials because it didn't work as expected
- You've got mushrooms but they are very few and small
- Your mushrooms look kinda funky and you don't know why
- You've got other mushrooms instead of what you wanted
- Your mushrooms popped but dried up
- You have fly and other pest issues but don't know how to control them, etc.
- Your bags look kinda funky and didn't fruit
